Credit Control Manager – Travel Industry

Salary: £50,000 – £60,000

Location: City, London

Hybrid: 3 days in the office

We are partnering with an established, industry leading travel brand that is at the forefront of the industry. Due to the successful growth of the business, a position has become available for a Credit Control Manager to join them on their mission to be the most valued, recommended and entrepreneurial travel, advisory and events business in the world.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the role will be a key member of the Finance team that will help support the growth and development of the business globally. The role provides an exciting opportunity to be instrumental to the strategic direction of the company, working across the entire organisation interacting with Operations, Account Management, Sales and Finance, as well as our key clients and accounts.

Main responsibilities and experience required:

Management of a small team of credit controllers
Ownership of Aged Debt across all group entities.
Key involvement in the implementation of NetSuite
Aged Debt Reporting to senior stakeholders across the group.
Managing the escalation process for problem debtors.
Responsibility for Audit Requests related to debtors.
Reviewing, suggesting and implementing process improvements related to credit control.
Strong communication skills and ability to build a rapport with customers
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, with ability to work to strict deadlines.
Experience of working with NetSuite would be beneficial, but not essential
A track record of developing and improving systems and processes
Strong Excel Skills (vlookups, pivot tables etc.)

The successful candidate will have either previous experience within the travel sector, managing a credit control team of 3+ or have extensive NetSuite systems experience.

You will have helped streamline and improve current processes, as well as be a hands-on manager who is able to motivate their team.
