Job Description
CREDIT CONTROL (Hybrid) – RECfinancial are delighted to be recruiting a Credit Controller for this Leicester City Centre based business as they continue on their strategic growth plan. With parking available and a Hybrid model (1/2 days in 3/4 days out), this Credit Control role is something you won't want to miss.
What Is The Role As The Credit Control?
Reporting into the Financial Controller, your role will be ensure that Clients outstanding accounts are paid on time and in full.
What Do They Want As Credit Control?

Liaise with customer payment departments to ensure invoices have been received and are in process for timely remittance
Chase customer late payments
Post customer receipts on sales ledgers
Monitor debit notes and raise credit notes as and when required
Produce weekly aged debtor reports for all companies
Supervise/oversee part time credit controller
Obtain credit insurance limits for new customers
Review/maintain customer credit limits at least once a year
Liaise with Credit Insurance brokers for insurance cover and debt reporting as necessary
Upload GmbH sales invoice and remittance data to invoice factoring company
Liaise with invoice factoring company regarding any direct customer payments
Ensure correct paperwork is submitted in timely manner for Letter of Credit customers
Liaise with Purchase Ledger/Payments to notify 3rd way customer receipts
Generate Weekly Update Report
Raise sales invoices/credit notes as and when required (back up resource)
Implement dunning procedure if necessary
Generate Agent's Commission Monthly Reports
Who Do They Want?
As a Credit Control, the main focus is having the right attitude and aptitude. Whilst a minimum of 2 years Credit Control is essential, my client requires drive, passion and hunger to grow within the role. Solid systems knowledge if also key, including Excel.
