Payroll Officer (in-house) Job in PR9, Southport, Sefton

Job Description
RG Consultancy are working with a retailer based in Southport who are looking for a stand alone Payroll Officer to take control of the end-to-end payroll for their company.

There are 2 payrolls to run, a 4 weekly and a monthly, and you would be expected to ensure accurate and timely processing for their team.

Duties include:

* End-to-end payroll processing for a 4 weekly and a monthly payroll

* Calculating hours from timesheets at branch level, checking for missing swipes, making relevant adjustments and emailing to branches

* Pension contribution calculations

* Adjustments for sickness, absence and holidays

* HR admin – updating for new starters and leavers

* Adhoc finance admin tasks as required – eg. some purchase ledger invoice processing

This is ideal for someone who is experienced in a similar role and can take control of the full payroll function. Experience in Sage line 50 would be an advantage and you would need to have solid Excel skills.

This is an office based role with working hours of Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm. Upto 25 days holiday plus bank
