Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Credit Control and Sales ledger Clerk to join a head office function based centrally in St Albans.

Working in a close-knit Credit Control team, who sit within a large finance team.

* 35 hour working week (9am-5pm)

Key responsibilities:

* To reconcile daily Head Office bank accounts

* To process monthly and quarterly invoicing of tenant rents and utilities

* To collect debts via Direct Debit

* To maintain an accurate and timely credit control records

* To maintain property database

* Perform other ad hoc duties as required (for accounts and other departments)

What the employer is looking for:

* Previous role in finance not required but desirable – must have administration experience.

* A good understanding of Credit Control and Credit Checking techniques is preferred but not essential

* A good understanding of Excel

* Highly computer literate with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office

* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and to work to deadlines

* Ability to achieve targets whilst maintaining accuracy

* Ability to develop positive working relationships with colleagues and external contacts

* Analytical and problem-solving skills

* Excellent numeracy skills.

* Rational decision making.
