Job Description
A major Insurance Broker is looking to recruit an additional Insurance professional to join them to support their Compliance team.

You'll use your Insurance knowledge to assist with helping the Business and it's people to work to the highest possible standards of Compliance in every aspect of their Insurance work.

You will be joining a strong and professional team who contribute to the success of the business.

As well as the important audits you will conduct, your ability to feedback that information in a positive way to coach people in the improvements you've identified, will make most impact for the Business.

Often this can be with senior people, so you'll be comfortable dealing with all levels of the organisation. Also occasionally it will be helpful to be able to pass on your feedback and guidance in groups, so being confident in that setting will be advantageous.

The role can be performed on a hybrid basis, between working at home and the Norwich office, however some work may involve travelling to other offices.

Main responsibilities of the Compliance Officer include:

To audit Insurance staff in line with Group and FCA requirements
Provide constructive feedback to Staff and Managers on the completed audits
Identify any trends and deliver reports including action points or issues
Provide sufficient data for regular Management Information reports
Assist with training requirements resulting from the audits
Liaising with staff in relation to their audits, responding to queries and providing feedback
Providing support to the Manager with the auditing and quality assurance functionsTo be a successful Compliance Officer you will demonstrate:

Insurance experience – ideally within an Insurance Broker, either with an interest in compliance or experience of auditing
Strong accuracy and attention to detail
Good interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written communication
The ability to work to achieve important deadlines
