Job Description
Our client is a growing logistics business offering a range of delivery and mail box solutions across the UK to individuals and businesses. They are expanding rapidly through global investment and are looking to add a Compliance Specialist to their team focused around AML compliance and ensuring customers and franchisee operators are correctly vetted. As Compliance Specialist you will play a vital role in the correct running of the business in accordance to Anti Money Laundering legislation.
As Compliance Specialist you will be responsible for ensuring complete and correct application of compliance polices, processes and procedures to new and existing customers. You will be required to carry out Customer Due Diligence checks; check and verify ID's, complete risk assessments on each potential customer and create and manage customer records. You will also focus on ensuring exiting customers are still operating correctly with designated account reviews; you will assist with any terminations of accounts and provide support to customers throughout their policies.
The right person will have a background in compliance ideally with some experience across Anti Money Laundering; this can be within a financial institute; logistics provider or similar regulated sector. The right person will have excellent attention to detail; an excellent communicator and be able to work in a fast paced environment.
