Job Description
A fast-growing FinTech is currently looking for a Client Services Manager to join its dynamic and growing team in Cambridge. They are looking for a highly motivated professional with experience in client services ideally within the financial or banking sectors.
Reporting to the COO, you will manage a team of Executives to deliver all aspects of client services. You will be the point of contact for your team, managing stakeholders both internal and external to the business.
You will be hands-on making customers feel valued and supported while ensuring the team is providing a first-class service and supporting the team with any difficult challenges.
As Client Services Manager, your responsibilities will include:
* Lead the team, manage, and support your team to be successful within their role and the wider business while also being able to challenge them when required.
* Leading the team in carrying out quality and completeness checks for all AML requirements.
* Oversee the training and development of new and less experienced members of the team.
* Reporting workload metrics to aid the Board of Directors to review and assess the company’s scale/growth.
* Identifying potential concerns and facilitating proactive intervention steps.
* Ensuring a positive and professional experience.
* Managing enquiries through various communication channels (phone, email, online, or in person).
* Directly handling complaints or complex queries that your team have escalated to you in a timely manner.
* Providing clients with technical assistance on products.
* Obtaining '’post-sales’’ reviews and comfortably providing feedback internally to the relevant team to ensure the most seamless journey possible from start to finish.
* Keeping track of the products and accounts we have available, as well as emerging trends in client services.
We are looking for a Client Services Manager who has the following skills and experiences:
* Experience managing / leading a team
* Experience providing first-line support
* A great listener and an ability to elicit information to better understand problems and their requirements
* Tenacious, proactive, and highly organised, able to own problems ensure they get a resolution
* Strong empathy and the capacity to react calmly and efficiently, even when others are stressed
* Excellent interpersonal and presentational skills, with the ability to communicate clearly in written and spoken English
* Honesty and integrity
* Strong work ethic
* Great team player
* Knowledge of Financial Services and the Financial Advisor Network would be preferred
