Job Description
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a Global Insurance company based in West Sussex who are looking to recruit a Manager to join their Travel Claims Team. This role can either be based in their offices near Chichester or Hybrid with 1-2 days in the office per week.

As a claims Manager you will be responsible for the management and effective delivery of our travel claims services across your teams (3-4 direct reports from Team Leaders who will manage own team of 6-8 staff members).

Duties and responsibilities:

* Support with the management of client relationships ensuring that the highest standards of customer service are maintained

* Proactively lead and motivate a team of claims team managers to achieve team objectives

* Challenge current work procedures and recommend cost effective process improvements or developments that improve productivity, customer service or staff satisfaction

* Ensure excellent customer service is delivered to and on behalf of clients

* Act as a contact point for clients on a day-to-day basis

* Lead and develop team members to reach their potential

* Continually improve employee satisfaction

* Identify key performance indicators and set objectives for staff

* Work closely with the compliance team to ensure the business is compliant with all relevant regulatory policies and procedures, and help drive improvement plans

Experience and knowledge:

* An aptitude for people management with the ability to motivate and drive performance on a consistent basis

* The ability to resolve complex customer problems/issues/complaints, and a strong understanding of customer service processes and systems

* Computer Literate with good understanding of Microsoft packages, including Word and Excel

* Experience leading and motivating an Insurance Claims Team is preferred but not essential, however experience in running an operational team is required
