Job Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Claims Executive to join at our offices located in Birmingham. If you have experience in the management of commercial claims from cradle to grave and are looking to join a fast-growing Chartered insurance broker, who is committed to supporting your professional development, Aston Lark may be the place for you.
This role offers the opportunity to develop your claims knowledge and experience further by working within a highly supportive team. You will be an established claims professional, who puts the customer at the heart of everything you do.
What will you be doing:
Attendance at Client's premises following Commercial Large or Complex losses and helping investigate any case law / relevant facts which aide satisfactory settlement and conclusion.
Monitoring and analysis of claim trends to be discussed and reviewed with Risk Management.
Building and developing close working relationships at a senior level with each of our partners, including Insurers and Loss Adjusters.
Ensure there are clear lines of communication throughout the team and sharing all relevant information with the Claims Director, Account Executives and Corporate Client team.
You need to bring with you:
Experience of managing Commercial Large or Complex losses and compliance to relevant processes.
Ability to gather and analyse information from the client.
Ability to persuade and influence others.
Working knowledge of all the main classes of General Insurance and GDPR, FCA / FOS and the CII's Code of Ethics.
Good understanding of Corporate Governance, financial awareness and how a business works.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in providing specialist advice in the insurance market is desirable.We can offer you:
