Job Title: Liquidity Risk & Project Actuary
Location: Birmingham
Day rate: £70,000 – £85,000 + 16% – 32% bonus + 10% pension
Type: Permanent
A FTSE 100 Insurance Company is recruiting a Liquidity & Risk Project Actuary to join their company on a permanent basis. The role is based in Birmingham but offers very flexible hybrid working.
The main focus of the role is to will support the Head of Liquidity Management in monitoring, managing and reporting the liquidity position in the Group companies (excluding unit linked and matching adjustment funds).
Responsibilities:
Work will include:
requirements gathering and articulation,
setting out and implementing testing plans and
support integration of change activity into BAU
Applying commercial understanding of the business to ensure financial, business & actuarial advice is aligned with the business needs
Contribute to the preparation of papers and reports for senior management and executives as required
Continually look to enhance processes and procedures to deliver effective solutions for the business
Regularly working to defined and tight timescales whilst maintaining professional standards
Experience and attributes required:
Qualified Actuary with strong technical experience
Experience of model testing and/or specification of development requirements
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
