Job Description
Assistant Accountant
Location – Central Manchester
Salary – £28,000 – £32,000
Simpson Judge are working with a hospitality company, with offices based in Central Manchester. This is a fantastic permanent opportunity with a reputable company.
Responsibilities include:
* Reconcile balance sheet accounts
* Maintenance of accounts payable/receivable
* Post journals to the accounting system
* Maintaining up to date and accurate financial database
* Prepare the quarterly VAT return
* Assist with the maintenance of the asset register
Experience/Skills required:
* 3 + years experience in similar role
* Proven experience in accountancy
* Strong Excel & Office skills
* Preferably ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
