With our Client we are looking to appoint an Accounts Payable Analyst on a fixed term contract basis – this could be 6 months or 9 months. For the right person this could become a permanent role

The Accounts Payable Analyst role will suit an experienced AP Clerk who is looking to take on a slightly different role / challenge or someone who is looking to gain experience within an accounts team.

Reporting to the Accounts Payable and Manager and working as part of a proactive / personable and hard working Accounts Payable team – the Accounts Payable Analyst will include;

* Ensuring accurate and timely delivery of AP services and analyzing KPIs

* query management and resolution

* use of Excel to report and track queries

* work with the team to process Payments

* set up new Suppliers

* assist with preparation for Month End

Person Specification

* Confident and self-aware with the ability to communicate professionally

* Able to influence positively to gain effective outcomes

* Able to maintain performance in stressful and challenging circumstances

* Able to build and maintain long-term professional relationships both internally and externally

* Able to identify solutions to suit internal and external customers

* Produce high quality work ensuring recording and use of systems is accurate is analysed and acted upon

* Effective organisation to ensure priorities, goals and deadlines are achieved.

* High level of attention to detail and accuracy

You will need previous experience in a Purchase Ledger role – ideally 12 months at least.
