Job Description
POST recruitment are recruiting an Assistant Accountant for an ever growning national business' head office based near Eccles.
The business has enjoyed steady growth over the past five year and is now looking to add to the finance team, reporting to the financial controller duties will include;
o Supporting the FC with daily duties and month end process
o Credit Control, including raising sales invoices
o Daily and Monthly banking reconciliation of bank accounts
o Petty Cash Management and reconciliation
o Credit card Processing and posting
o Prepare and Produce weekly reports: Cash, Sales, Aged Debt, and KPI Reports
o Process Payments Runs
o Month end reconciliations
o Posting month end journals
o Stock Count
o P&L cost analyse
o VAT return and reconciliation
o Intra Group Trading reconciliation
o Liaising with Colleagues, regarding any enquiry
o Processing expenses
o Managing Fixed Assets registration
o Assisting with Audit and year end procedures
o General accounting administration support to the finance team
* Key Skills
o 4 year of experience
o Individual that wants to support and grow with the business
o Strong IT skills – particularly Excel
o Part qualified or studying/ qualified by experience
o Strong team player with an excellent attitude and professional character
o Experience in a fast-paced environment, completing work tasks with speed and accuracy in a detailed work environment
