MET Recruitment is excited to be working with a renowned specialist national business at their head office based in the Dudley area. My client is looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant, you will be a valued member of their supportive finance team. My client boasts large office spaces with onsite parking in an easily commutable location. Ideally, you will have a few years of experience in a busy Assistant Accountant role looking after multiple LTD companies.

What we're looking for

Preferably AAT qualified but qualified by experience is great!
Good at working towards deadlines and working well under pressure.
Ability to manage the flow of data from other departments across the head office and other locations.
Good knowledge of Sage line 50.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, nothing too advanced!
Preferably two year's experience in a similar role.

What you'll be doing:

Looking after trial balances of up to 15 LTD companies.
Preparation of monthly annual budgets.
Completion of external reporting documents for banks and government audit departments.
Quarterly consolidated profit and loss accounts and balance sheets.
Ad hoc accounting duties
