Job Description
Accounts Payable Clerk – Edinburgh  – Salary  –  ­£23,000 – £25,000+

Are you interested in working in Accounts payable role for an established Law firm?

Have you got experience working in a professional services role?

Do you understand the importance of always maintaining excellent attention to detail and accuracy?

We are looking to speak to experienced Accounts Payable Administrators for a fantastic opportunity based in Edinburgh.

This position is working with a highly sought-after Law firm in the Finance department.

What will the day to day look like?

Responsible for processing invoices and expenses

Effective mailbox management

Supplier statement reconciliations complete with investigative action taken where necessary

Looking after expenses

Timely set up of onboarded suppliers

Timely management of escalated issues coming from suppliers or the business

Month end process tasks

 Assisting with queries and reporting when required

Are you who we are looking for?

Previous experience of working in a Law firm (desirable)

Prior experience working with a Purchase Order system (desirable)

Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure

Strong communication skills

Problem solving abilities

Be comfortable using Excel

Be experienced working in an Accounts Payable role

Understand the importance of accuracy and attention to detail
