Job Description
Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant? Do you enjoy all things that involve numbers?
Are you able to multitask between departments such as sales ledger and purchase ledger?
Are you able to raise a sales invoice accurately one minute then raise a purchase invoice the next?
It is essential that you have experience of Payroll. You'll need to be able to assist in month-end processes associated with management accounts, including accruals and prepayments and in the reconciliation of inter-company balances.
With pride in your accounting skills you'll be able to take ownership of Credit Control duties and ensuring that all customer accounts are mai
With the responsibility of posting cash for multiple different companies and ensuring the cash is allocated correctly you'll need to be accurate. A perfectionist even.
Which is why you will have decision making authority but is expected to make those decisions within their specified job parameters.
You'll be expected to resolve day-to-day problems or queries arising and report if unable to answer.
The essentials are that you have to have or working towards your AAT, ACCA or CIMA. You'll have exceptional analytical skills, organised and most importantly really good communication skills. (You'll have to be able to talk to clients and colleagues of course.)
