Role: Account Manager (Energy / Utilities)
Location: Remote / Glasgow
Salary: £Competitive Salary DOE + Commission + 30.5 days holiday
Summary:
Do you have previous experience working in a client focussed environment in the energy / utilities industry? If so, we are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join a leading independent Energy & Utility Consultancy. You will be responsible for developing existing client relationships, as well as focusing on new business, with daily duties to include the procurement of Energy & Water contracts, managing billing issues, invoice validation, renewal of contracts and all associated admin. You will have excellent communication skills, a customer-oriented attitude & ideally comes from an Energy background. If this sounds like you, apply today!
Key responsibilities:
Procurement of energy and water contracts for major customers
Invoice validation & manage utility termination / objection notices
Recording cost / consumption data from invoices and other sources
Management of billing issues & queries on behalf of clients
Delivering all the clients administration needs
Communicating with clients via telephone, email, and face to face meetings
Renewal of procurement contracts, demonstrating high retention rates
Continuously review your portfolio to identify opportunities and risks
Prepare templated monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting as per the agreed workplanSkills and experience required:
Previous experience working for a client focused or an energy service company.
Excellent communication and skills
