ACCA / ACA Accountancy Apprenticeship – Assistant Group Financial Accountant
Location: Hybrid – London
Salary: Up to £28,000 (DoE)

As our ACCA / ACA Accountancy Apprentice you will:
* Assist with preparing monthly accounts for the plc costs entity
* Assist with preparing monthly financial reports
* Support the wider team to produce the Annual & Interim report and IFRS accounts
* Develop strong technical accounting knowledge to assist with Share based payments and Acquisition & Disposal Accounting
* Assist with preparing statutory accounts for UK and overseas entities
* Assist with information requests relating to UK and overseas tax returns
* Assist with preparing budget & forecast financial schedules and reports
* Build strong relationships within the wider team
* Develop an understanding of SUN accounting software and supporting continuous improvement in reporting financial information
* Contribute to ad-hoc projects and responding to ad-hoc requests
In order to be successful in this role you will need:
* Progression towards your accountancy qualification with a commitment to becoming a qualified accountant
* Excellent numeracy and communication skills
* Strong Excel and Word skills
* Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise and adhere to timetables
* A commitment to becoming an ACCA/ACA qualified accountant
* Strong attention to detail
* A high level of personal drive and motivation
* A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to use initiative
* A positive outlook and ‘can-do’ attitude
