Temporary Bookkeeper

£12.50-£18.50ph, Wetherby, Part Time, Flexible Hours, 2-3 days per week.

Calling all Accountants, Bookkeepers and Accounts professionals. We are currently recruiting a Temporary Bookkeeper for this well-established Chartered Accountancy firm based in Wetherby. This is a part time, temporary position to assist with the busy year end period up to the end of January.

The ideal candidate will be AAT, ACCA, ACA, or ICAEW qualified with experience as a Bookkeeper, Accounts Assistant, Assistant Accountant or Accountant. The main purpose of this Temporary Bookkeeper position is to assist with various clients' accounts, especially with the run up to year end. You will provide bookkeeping services for a number of clients, processing VAT and Tax returns and dealing with general accounts queries.

Requirements:

You will have a good all round understanding of bookkeeping processes
Preferably AAT, ACA, ACCA, ICAEW qualified or equivalent
Experience using VT or VTC software would be advantageous
Experience using Xero and Sage would be good
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
