Job Description
Our client is a long established Accountancy firm based in South Cheshire. They offer expert advice to businesses across the North West and beyond, with wide ranging experience that matches their ambitions as a firm.

They have a unique opening to welcome onboard an experienced Tax Advisor / Manager, reporting directly to the Partners.

You will be the main point of contact for your clients – there to advise, assist and update them at every stage of their  journey. You’ll need to totally understand the businesses you’re dealing with, conduct in-depth interviews to uncover as much insight as possible and have an in-depth technical background / understanding of the wider impact of the advice you give.

Main duties of the role are:

Be able to advise clients on tax compliance, tax planning, tax calculations and prepare tax returns for all the whole range of UK taxes
Be a knowledge base and support to all of the accounts and tax team and partners
Comply with all necessary tax legislation but plan to make any savings that minimize tax bills for the business and individuals where possible
Enable accurate and timely forecasting tax liabilities
Compile and present quarterly reporting
Document and quantify uncertain tax positions, prepare suggestions and calculations
Review of tax provisions
Advise on bespoke tax planning where applicable
Implement tax planning arrangements
Succession Planning
Support a team with personal and corporate technical knowledge, helping them to excel and meet deadlines 
Skills and Qualifications:

Have experience of GAAP highly desirable
CTA or ATT qualification
Operate Iris suite of tax software
ACCA or other accountancy qualification favorable
Have up to date knowledge of all UK taxesAre you technically brilliant with tax and have a natural ability to lead?
