Job Description of a Senior Management Accountant
This is a brand new opportunity following the decision to centralise the finance function out of the North East.
Give direction and support to the management accounts in central function, support the annual budget and 5 year business plans and set, monitor and improve department KPI's
The successful candidate will manage regional cost centre, train, coach, engage and challenge all members of the central finance team
and ensure consolidated of monthly UK finance information and deliver to division and Corporate Finance
Skills & experience of a Senior Management Accountant
The postholder will have five years’+ experience post accounting qualification of a senior Financial role, previous exposure from within manufacturing preferably within the automotive industry, have working knowledge of UK regulatory standards, including IFRS and Sarbanes-Oxley, experience of using SAP and demonstrable management experience having responsibility for a finance team of people.
High level of experience and knowledge of Corporate governance, especially within a business based over multiple sites and locations
Experience of working with KPIs and developing internal performance measurement tools – Both financial and non financial
