Job Description
Simpson Judge are working with a service business based in Knutsford who are looking to expand their team and appoint an experienced Senior Financial Accountant. This is a hands-on role supporting the Finance Manager and will suit an ambitious individual looking to further develop their skills across management accounts and FP&A. This will suit someone ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with post qualified experience. Candidates are also only required to work from the office once a week.

Requirements:
* Leading the monthly close process by preparing adjusting journals and performing detailed account analysis
* Preparation of balance sheet and P&L reconciliations for multiple UK entities
* Reviewing monthly management accounts for a subsidiary within the Group, including reviewing balance sheet and P&L reconciliations, across both Euros and Sterling
* Preparation of insightful management information with supporting analysis and commentary
* Preparation of budgets and forecasting models
* Supporting external advisors with the calculation and submission of various company tax filings
* Assisting with the year-end statutory accounts and liaising with the Auditors
* Supporting continuous improvement of finance processes
* Finance lead on ad-hoc special projects as needed
* Supervision and development of junior team members

Requirements:
* Qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA with strong post qualification experience
* Strong Excel skills
* Ability to communicate with stakeholders and explain financial terms in a simple and concise manner
