Job Description
AUDITOR – £28,000 – £38,000

Our client is a leading Accountancy firm based in Wilmslow with a fantastic reputation. They are now looking for an Auditor to join the business – the role is a critical role within the business. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years audit experience and have worked within an SME/OMB client base.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Auditor, with 2 + years’ experience within a similar role and will be part or fully ACCA/ACA qualified. Previous accounts preparation experience is also required.

The Auditor role:

* Assisting with the planning of audits

* Ability to run an audit

* Supervision of an assistant auditor

* Auditing all areas of financial statements

* Some field work at client offices (need a car)

* Accounts preparation

* Cash flow forecasting

* Management accounts

* Other auditing duties as required

The Auditor requirements:

* ACCA/ACA part of fully qualified – if part qualified will offer study support and cover some/all legacy training costs

* 2 + years audit experience

* Proactive and confident manner

* Strong communication skills

* Ability to prioritise workload

* Excel to intermediate level

* Accounts preparation experience

The Auditor role remuneration:

* Salary £28,000 – £38,000 dependent on experience

* 25 days holidays including all Bank Holidays
