Our client is recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to work at their office.
Responsible for the overall day to day administration of the commercial and surveying aspects of ventilation ductwork projects.
Activities will include: the administration and monitor of all commercial aspects of projects; development and maintenance of accurate cost reporting and forecasting for; managing and producing take offs and Bill of Quantities (BoQ); undertaking monthly payment cycles including applications; certification; invoicing etc; valuing contract variations; support the procurement of subcontract works packages; attending site meeting and liaising with Client commercial representatives.
Suitable candidates will have a mechanical background and suitable qualifications in quantity surveying within the construction industry. They should also have good computer skills and be proficient in the use of MS Word and Excel.
