Location: Leicester

Summary

Our client – an established and well-respected firm of Chartered Accountants based in Leicester – is seeking an experienced Payroller to join their practice team to manage multiple payrolls for their clients on a part time permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

_     Setting up new payrolls, new starters, leavers,

_     Dealing with PAYE, online submission, SSP, SMP, AEO's, student loans,

_     Processing payments via BACS,

_     Year-end processes,

_     Liaising with clients, partners & managers to ensure all information is received correctly,

_     Auto-enrolment pensions,

_     Dealing with HMRC, keeping up-to-date with all necessary legislation,

_     RTI, informing clients on RTI and Pension Reforms.

The Right Person

_     Previous payroll experience is essential,

_     Effective communication skills, confident in presenting financial information to senior management,

_     Proactive and able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision,

_     Excellent planning, organisation & deadline time keeping skills,

_     Strong IT skills incl. Microsoft Excel & Word skills to a good standard.

Package

_     Appointment Type: Permanent part time

_     Salary: £23,000 – £27,000 full-time-equivalent – pro-rata if part time- 25-36.25 hours (subject to experience)

_     Holiday 20 Days + Bank Holidays

_     Pension
