Payroll Specialist
Location: Guildford, Surrey
Permanent – Monday to Friday
Remarkable Jobs are delighted to be working with an established client to assist them with the recruitment of an ‘Payroll Specialist’.
Our client is a fast-growing company that provide international business services and support to their global clients. They are a company with great heritage and are one a hugely respected company within their industry for over 30 years.
In this ‘Payroll Specialist’ role, the successful candidate will be responsible for the entire payroll lifecycle for global employees within a client facing environment.
Key Responsibilities in this ‘Payroll Specialist’ role:
Managing the UK payroll from start to finish, including set up of new starters and processing leavers.
Managing pension schemes and liaising with providers.
Providing manual calculations and tax breakdowns for clients.
Preparing and signing off monthly payments, bank reconciliations from clients.
Corresponding with third party providers such as HMRC and pension providers.
Payroll Year End reporting.
Take full control of all payroll queries via email.
Education, Experience and Skills needed for this ‘Payroll Specialist’ role:
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role.
Good knowledge of payroll processes, calculation and legislation, with proven experience as part of a team.
Have solid UK payroll experience.
Previous experience in a busy multi-client, multi-company or bureau operation is required for this role.
Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
Willing to work hard and with flexibility.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
