Amazing opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a busy friendly finance function
The Company
Seymour John are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant where you will work as part of a fast-paced and dynamic finance function. They company are based the right side of Shrewsbury for an easy commute from Telford
The Opportunities
Reporting to the Finance Director where your duties and responsibilities will include:
* Purchase Ledger – processing Invoices through to supplier payments
* Credit Control – chasing customers for payments, allocating cash, query resolution
* Working with foreign currency to include USD, Euros as well as GBP
* Bank Reconciliations
* Accruals and prepayments
* EC sales
* Fixed assets
Personal Profile
We are looking for an outgoing individual with a ‘can do’ attitude who is customer focused. Ideally you will be AAT qualified or qualified by experience with strong communication skills. Attention to detail is keen, alongside being IT literate and confident with excel. You will have a flexible and hands on approach to working in a team environment. The company offer a happy and rewarding work environment where you will be offered 30 hours a week between the hours of 8.30am-5.30pm.
