Client Details

A small to medium sized public sector organisation based in the heart of Sheffield are looking to add to their Finance team during a period of growth. Whilst the role is interim for now, this could eventually turn into a longer term opportunity.

Description

The key responsibilities of the Payroll Officer position will be to support the Payroll team with accurate preparation of payroll for staff, which will at times be in fairly high volumes.

Profile

The successful candidate will have experience in a Payroll position before at an administrative level. They will ideally have some knowledge of Local Government Pensions Schemes and statutory regulation, but this is not essential.

Job Offer

The successful Payroll Officer candidate will receive:

£11-13 per hour
Holiday pay on top of this
6-12 month contract with chance of extension
