Job Description
Mortgage Specialist – Swansea
Due to company growth, a fantastic opportunity has arisen to join my well established client as a Mortgage Specialist.
The role will report directly to the Broker Support Manager.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES
Completion of Residential and Buy To Let first charge mortgage processing
Reading and interpretation of Credit reports
Researching and Instructing Valuations
Keeping up to date with product and criteria
Checking supporting documents within money laundering and financial crime guidelines
An analytical approach to work
Complying with company policies and procedures
Managing workflows and day to day diary management
Placement of cases with a suitable lender
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Ability to hit deadlines
Ability to use initiative
Ability to hit work well in a team
Experience in a mortgage administration role or equivalent role within the mortgage industry
CeMap or Equivalent but not essential
Underwriting experience (preferably mortgage underwriting – not necessarily mandated)
