Job Description
Job Title: Management Accountant

Location: Radstock

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full time preferred – Part time considered (25-30 Hours)

I’m seeking a Management Accountant to work for a manufacturing company based in Radstock. You will be an important member of a small finance team who is responsible for the financial management and management/statutory reporting of the Radstock site and its subsidiary based outside the UK.

This is a hands on role with the preparation of monthly management information and annual statutory audited accounts. Preparation and publication of daily, weekly, and monthly KPI’s which are timely, relevant, and accurate.

Qualifications are not necessary, however you must be qualified by experience. You must be confident using Microsoft Excel as there will be an Excel example at interview stage. The salary is dependent on experience.

If you are interested with the part time role, you must be available to work 5-6 hours per day Mon-Fri. Working full time hours over 4 days is NOT an option. Cover full time staff holidays when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

* Completion of Balance Sheet Reconciliations

* Preparation or Monthly Overhead analysis

* VAT

* Product Margin Reporting

* Accruals & Prepayments

* Preparation of Annual Budgets

* Variance Reporting

* Support Accounts Payable Function

To be considered:

* Qualified, Part Qualified or Qualified by Experience

* Good Working Knowledge of ERP systems

* Good working Knowledge of Microsoft Programs especially Excel

* Ability to effectively communicate with the multiple functions in a manufacturing environment

* Good organisational skills and the ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team

* Ability to meet strict deadlines

* Experience in accounting for a Manufacturer would be an advantage
