Job Description
We're currently recruiting a Management Accountant to join our client based in Ashby in their financial planning and analysis department.
The successful candidate will report to the Finance Manager and will work in a cohesive and friendly finance team to assist in the production and delivery of accurate and timely management accounts for the 4 divisions within their business.
This is an interesting and varied role and will require the successful candidate to work collaboratively across their divisions and build strong relationships between the finance department and the wider business.
Duties and responsibilities:
Production of period and year end management reporting and other financial analysis to support the business
Finance business partnering with divisions
Involvement in the production of the annual budget and forecasts
Assistance with the implementation of finance dashboards / financial planning software
Skills and experience required:
ACCA / CIMA qualified / part-qualified
Experience of consultancy-based service business desirable
Strong Excel skills (Pivot tables / VLOOKUP's & HLOOKUP's)
Experienced in the use of accounting software
Self-motivated and adept at the organisation and prioritisation of tasks and handling large workload
Professional, friendly and approachable communicator
Hours of work:
Monday to Friday 8.45am – 5.15pm (1-hour lunch break)
Salary and benefits:
£36,000 – £42,000
25 days holidays + bank holidays
Pension scheme (5% employee / 4% employer)

Hybrid working (2 days from home / 3 days in the office)
