Job Description
Internal Auditor responsibilities include:

– Performing the full audit cycle including risk management and control management and compliance in accordance with the companies awarded standards and contracts.

– Determining internal audit scope, fulfilling internal audits and managing the actions/matters arising.

Our client is looking for an objective Internal Auditor to join their very busy Compliance Department. They are looking for someone who will add value and improve current operations via the effectiveness of risk management.

The successful candidate will travel a thorough knowledge of Environmental, Data Security, Quality Management, Best Practice Guidelines, Anti Bribery and Corruption and Customer driven requirements using impartial judgements and constructive feedback methods.

Responsibilities

• Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, reliability and compliance with all applicable standards and audits.

• Determine internal audit scope and develop annual plans with the Quality Administrator.

• Obtain, analyse and evaluate documentation from previous reports.

• Prepare and present reports that reflect audit’s results and document process

• Act as an objective and impartial source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal achievement

• Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings

• Maintain open communication with management and the Compliance team.

• Document process and prepare audit findings

• Conduct follow up audits to monitor management’s interventions

• Engage to continuous knowledge development regarding sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques, and performance standards

• Assist monitoring supply chain process and audits

• Requirements and skills

• Proven working experience as Internal Auditor or BSI trained within Internal Auditing.

• Advanced computer skills on MS Office 365.

• Current knowledge and ongoing knowledge of auditing standards and procedures.

• High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills

• Sound independent judgement
