Job Description
Fantastic opportunity to work for a successful growing insurance company based in Ely.

Working closely with the Director you will be responsible for managing the workload of the Sales Team delivering the sales plan and providing feedback on its success, offering suggested changes where appropriate.

Key duties:

* Managing the workload of the Sales Team.

* Develop sales targets for the sales executives in line with the sales plan and provide feedback.

* Work closely with Account Support Manager to provide information relative to new business sales targets across the whole business. to the Head of Insurance.

* Conduct monthly monitoring of calls to ensure regulatory compliance

* Regular liaison with Account Support Manager in respect of renewal and repeat
business to maximise potential opportunities and provide support where needed.

* Work with Head of Insurance and Account Support Manager to deliver sales targets across the whole business – for new, renewal and repeat customers.

* Providing support with the marketing plan.

* Work with the Account Support Manager to ensure compliant procedures are followed and to ensure adequate office cover at all times.

* Generate business using a variety of methods (including but not limited to telesales and the web etc).

Key Requirements:

Essential:
Good standard of English (to GCSE or equivalent)
Computer literacy (competent use of Microsoft package)
Understands FCA compliance requirements and limitations of the role
Proven experience of selling insurance products to SMEs
Experience managing a multi-disciplined team
Experience of working within a small organisation
Business Development – securing and closing sales
Excellent attention to detail
Good account management skills

Desirable:
Education to Degree level (ideally with a specialism in Business or Finance) or ability to demonstrate competence through relevant experience
Certificate in Insurance (working towards or having achieved)
Experience of having worked within an MGA or insurance brokerage
Experience of working with SMEs

No weekends, Monday – Friday 9-5 , Based in Ely, Parking and also walkable from the train station, Hybrid working, Quarterly bonus
