Job Description
Finance / Accounting Software Implementation Consultant required for a permanent role with an innovative company who are authors of cutting-edge cloud e-commerce, ERP, inventory, and accounting software. This is a home-based position, implementing SaaS / Cloud ERP and accounting software. Salary to £55k plus benefits.
Your job will be rolling out the software, to customers who are moving from existing ERP or accounting systems or are moving to cloud accounting / ERP for the first time. There is very little travel involved as implementation is done remotely, and training is web based most of the time. You will gather the requirements, design, and configure the software to fit, implement the solution and train the users, taking each client though the complete process yourself, and giving support post implementation.
A background implementing software with an accounting/finance element is essential – anything like Intact IQ, Access Dimensions, PS Financials, Sage 200, SAP Business One, Xero, Dynamics 365 Business Central / NAV, Epicor, Unit4 Agresso, SAP Business ByDesign, Brightpearl, Dynamics GP, Coda Dream, Orderwise, SAP BYD, OGL Profit Plus, Winman, or similar would be ideal.

So you have implemented accounting / finance software, or the accounting modules of ERP solutions, and if you have also worked in accounts or bookkeeping before or have an accounting qualification such as AAT, CIMA, ACCA or similar, you'll be at the top of the pile. You may already be in a client facing role working for a software reseller, or vendor, or you may work at an end user company and have implemented their accounts software, or you might be a Systems Accountant or Management Accountant, who has experience on the software side, and wants to move into consultancy. They are open minded.

You are someone who wants to give your clients the best possible experience through the tricky process of putting new software into their business and will build long lasting relationships, so they stay loyal and continue to use support services, training, and software upgrades. You have top notch analytical skills and can manage several software implementations concurrently, which are at different stages.
