Head of Operational Finance Job in Hertfordshire

Job Description
Our client, an exciting, high-growth business with impressive strategy in place to further expand market share through acquisition and investment, is looking to hire a credible and charismatic Head of Operational Finance to join its talented team on an interim basis for c6 months.

Supporting the Finance Director, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing the operational financial plans which are focused on delivering the strategic objectives of the business, as well leading a team of 5 Analysts and Business Partners.

Main duties include:
* Acting as the lead voice of Finance on Operations leadership team, considering broader business factors and sharing opinions to drive business delivery
* Delivering financial reporting on operations performance, with insight and challenge to support annual budget delivery
* Leading budget setting process to ensure challenging but achievable budgets
* Coordinating a continuous improvement programme
* Oversight of labour tracking and modelling
* Reviewing approval of capital business cases
* Leading and mentoring the Operations Finance Team

Key skills and experience required:
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
* Proven experience in high level business partnering, budget setting in a fast-paced multi-site environment
* Proven leadership experience
* Excellent communication style, credible and confident demeanour
* Proactive approach to problem solving and demonstrating initiative
