Job Description
Job Title: Group Financial Reporting Accountant

Location: Oxfordshire

Working from home with 2/3 days a month in the office

Salary: £60,000-£75,000 + Bonus

ACA or ACCA Qualified

The role

To support growth, a new role has been created to lend financial accounting experience and support to a hard-working and committed team. As well as day to day accounting & reporting duties, you will be involved with and work directly with all the departments, including trading, commercial, operations, developments and the directors of the organisation.

Main Responsibilities

Financial accounting: Manage the group consolidation and statutory external audits, ensuring a successful and timely completion
Management accounting: Lead on the monthly reporting pack ensuring an insightful, accurate and timely delivery to group and senior management.
Process improvement: Support systems development ensuring enhanced efficiencies and automation of core finance processes
Manage statutory submissions including Corporation Tax and ONS
Manage a team of five accountants (qualified/PQ mix)Requirements:

Strong understanding of UK statutory reporting requirements.
Understanding the commercial and operational performance of the business and articulating this in relation to the financial performance
3+ years post qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CA)
Audit experience, preferably Big 4
Experience in senior stakeholder management
Evidence of systems improvement
Experience in a month-end or quarter-end focused role
