Job Description
Candidate Requirements:
· Must have previously provided 2nd line of defence within a regulated environment
· Prior relevant industry experience such as Compliance, Risk with an emphasis on Financial Crime
· Exposure to screening and monitoring systems within financial crime, would be advantageous
· Must be a confident and competent individual, who can contribute within the team
· Possess excellent IT skills, including Excel
· Accountable, with sound attention to detail
· Strong administration, and organisation skills to work to deadlines
· Able to take on new ideas and concepts and use them

Role:

Are you currently working on the 2nd Line of Defence and looking to expand your knowledge of Financial Crime policies and procedures?

A rare opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and driven individual, to join a high-profile business in the North East. You’ll join a knowledgeable small team, delivering awareness of compliance throughout the Company.

Responsibilities will include:

· Produce management information that relates to risk in Financial crime
· Assist in the investigation of SARs (Suspicious Activity Reports)
· Work closely with the First Line AML to support reviews of high-risk client relationships
· Keeping up to date with industry news and identifying areas of impact
· Respond to due diligence requests from third parties
· Keep up to date with legal and regulatory requirements relating to Financial Crime
· Respond to all manner of Financial Crime queries in a timely manner

Qualifications:

· CISI / ICA would be advantageous
· Good standard of general education
