Financial Controller – Manufacturing Job in Norwich

Job Description
Our client is a locally based multi-site manufacturing business with a strong senior management team and exciting plans for the future.

The Financial Controller role is heavily focussed on Business Partnering and FP&A with key responsibilities to include:

Creating and maintaining a robust reporting and analysis timetable for the site
Provide regular analysis on the site’s performance (daily, weekly, monthly and ad-hoc)
Ensure that the site management is updated and challenged on site performance
Mitigate risks and seek continual improvement of controls and reporting
Work with central hub to ensure operational dashboard is robust
Liaise with site management to ensure robust control over intake, stock, labour and yields.
Support site management in pulling capital proposals together
Provide analysis on the deployment of capital investment, performing post implementation reviews.
Liaise with FP&A Manager on site forecasts and budgets, ensuring working to FP&A timetable
The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified Accountant with strong team management skills and a background in manufacturing. 

It is essential that you have well developed interpersonal skills alongside project management experience, good systems knowledge (ERP), problem solving and analytical skills.
