Job Description
We are recruiting for inbound collections advisors for one of our key accounts – Lloyds Banking Group – at our central Edinburgh Call Centre.

Full-time – permanent role, 35 hours per week

Location – MUST be local to Edinburgh (EH129DS) or be able to reliably commute to site.

Salary – £11,80 per hour

Opening hours – 8am until 8pm Monday to Sunday! Please ensure you are fully flexible between these times. We need to be there when our customers need us, and so full flexibility is essential within these hours.

The detail:

You’ll be right at the forefront in helping people with their finance account queries so we’re looking for someone with a strong service ethic and a passion for people.

We’re looking for a can do attitude and a desire to learn and grow. People development is important at Firstsource and starts as soon as you join us.

No prior call centre experience? No problem, we have an excellent training and induction programme designed so that you’ll hit the ground running!

What will you do?

* Arranging collection of the debt through telephone (predominantly inbound), email and online services

* Establishing the consumer’s ability to pay

* Contacting consumers to put in place tailored solutions to enable them to address their debt situation bearing in mind their financial well-being· Handling general file queries

* Sending out financial statements, evidence and response packs

* Working with vulnerable consumers in line with the firm’s policies and procedures

* Negotiating re-payments and settlements.

The pace we move at also means priorities will change and you’ll need to be comfortable with this (we’ll support you!). But these are the things that will be core to your role and will keep you busy

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

* Contact Centre experience (or similar environment)

* Mathematics and English to a satisfactory level

* Basic competency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

* Collections experience in a consumer environment (desirable)

* Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (desirable)
