Job Description
Construction Industry Finance Professionals – A newly created role is now available within a Macclesfield based business that is undertaking prestigious, high-end projects.
The company is looking to take on a Financial Controller to take responsibility for the accounting issues that are specific to the construction industry.
It is likely that suitable applicants will be in the role of Financial Controller, Finance Manager, Finance Officer or a Senior Finance Assistant looking to move into a senior role.
You will be accountable for :
Applications for Payments
Verifying Subcontractors
Processing CIS / Filing returns and payments for both suffered and deducted
VAT Returns including knowledge of DRC
Knowledge of foreign transactions / import and export VAT
Bank and credit card reconciliation
Supplementary duties may include payroll / pension submissions.
As well as proven track record in a construction industry finance role, this business is looking for someone who has used the XERO accounting platform, having recently transitioned from SAGE.
You will also be required to supervise a Finance Administrator already in post.
The business has a tight-knit small office team and a growing network of onsite engineers and subcontractors as their project portfolio and client base continues to grow.
