We are working with a local authority who are searching for a Finance Team Manager to join their team. You will be working within the Transactional Services division serving a population of 2 million residents.

Job Role:

The Finance Team Manager (Income Collection) will lead and drive the team delivery of specific task. You will ensure a high level of income collection and assist with the review processes in place to ensure consistent Debt Recovery Strategy

* Lead on the delivery of the business plan for financial transactions

* Motivate a team of finance officers, to deliver exemplary standard in the continuous improvement in financial transactions

* Identify and clarify customers needs to delivery process and technology change – this will drive efficiency and value for money

* Produce reports for income and external customers to manage performance and maximise income.

* Maintaining currency legislation changes and translating these into legal policies

* Identifying, mitigating, managing and resolving risks to minimise financial impact and loss

The right candidate will need to have experience in income collection & debt recovery as well as good leadership and the ability to motivate multiple staff.
