Clover HR are working with Forward Carers to recruit for a Finance and Contracts Manager to join their team on a full time, permanent basis, based in Selly Oak.

In this senior management role, you will ensure the successful strategic and operational management of the finance function and back-office support services relating to governance and administration.
Ideal candidate skills
Must have a finance qualification, ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CIPFA, AAT or equivalent
Adept in using financial management information systems – SAGE or Xero accounting packages
Able to inform, persuade, influence and engage diverse audiences, including trustees, commissioners, external partners, staff and volunteers
A strategic thinker who is willing to get stuck in
Able to work on own initiative, prioritise and meet tight deadlines
Main tasks but not limited to;
Managing the Finance & Resources operations by allocating resources effectively and measuring performance to ensure high-quality service delivery of financial strategic planning, monitoring, budgeting, management and reporting.
Management accounting and budgetary control
Lead the preparation of the forecasting and planning, annual budgets, monitoring outturns and regular reporting of management accounts to Projects Board and Forward Carers Board Producing regular reports with analysis and commentary for the Projects Board and Board of Directors
Reviewing data, analyse and identify relevant information, to ensure supplier / delivery partner payments to reflect contracts and SLAs.
Lead on Performance Management and due diligence of third-party suppliers and delivery partners.
Prepare quarterly, annual and predicted spend financial reports in liaison with managers
Able to produce, analyse and successfully communicate financial data and reports for a board of Trustees including those with non-financial backgrounds
Contribute to the development of the organisation’s overall strategy and business planning, and deliver goals and targets set out in the business plan
Acting as Company Secretary, and oversight of necessary returns to Companies House, HMRC and other regulatory organisations
What you will get in return
Salary £40,876 – £45,859 per annum, depending on experience
Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, flexibility on how this is worked
Hybrid working available, must be in the office Monday and Fridays
25 days holiday plus bank holidays
