My client, a global financial services company, are looking for an experience Finance Assistant who is confident reading balance sheets and financial statements and reviewing profit and loss. You will be responsible for capturing this data and producing reports to be reviewed by senior management. You must have a good eye for details and have an analytical approach. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience within financial services within a company that offers career progression and longevity.

The Role

Data input and analysis of companies’ financial accounts
Assist in the production of data for use in Special Reports under the support of senior analysts
Undertake research in regions and countries to identify new market participants with a view to increasing the company’s coverage within data products

Experience/Skills

Experience within a Finance/Accounts role
Ability to understand and navigate financial information, particularly insurance companies’ reports and accounts
Understanding of insurance or financial services market would be useful
Good IT skills, especially Excel
Good prioritisation and multi-tasking skills
Good level of accuracy and attention to detail
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
