Finance Assistant, Banbury.

You’ll be working Monday – Friday from 9.00 – 5.00, predominantly from their Banbury HQ, although you will have the opportunity to work 2 days a week from home. Let’s not forget there’s work to do too, here’s what your responsibilities will look like:

* Ensure strict financial controls are adhered to, maximising company profitability

* Respond to any account queries in a timely and accurate manner

* Maintain the Sales and Purchase ledgers across multiple currencies

* Multi-currency bank reconciliations

* Assist with the VAT preparation

* Sales Reconciliations, ensuring all records are maintained and updated accurately

* Journals and inter-company adjustments

* Prepayments

* Preparation of payments runs

* Ad hoc support to the wider finance team

Attributes you’ll need to succeed:

OK, so you’ve hopefully already guessed you will need to have previously worked in a fast-paced finance environment, ideally working towards a professional qualification such as AAT. You’ll be the sort of person who thrives on the buzz of a fast-paced environment and can bring a solutions-orientated approach to solving any problems. Strong systems experience and in particular, any exposure to working with NetSuite would be highly advantageous
