Job Description
Job title: Customer Services Advisor

Location: Edinburgh

Hybrid role working 2 days a week in the office.

Salary: Competitive Salary plus benefits.

Contract: 12 months fixed term contract (potential to go permanent)

Hours of work: Shift patterns 8am-4pm, 9am-5 pm and 10am-6pm rotated.

Our client has an exciting new role for a confident person with ambitions to secure a career in the investment banking sector. They are looking for a dedicated individual who can provide a positive and professional customer service experience to make clients feel valued and supported.

Dealing with inbound calls you will have excellent communication skills and strong listening skills. You should also be able to identify and resolve client queries in a professional and timely manner.

Extensive formal and on-the-job training is offered.

Responsibilities

Responding to all customer queries received by phone, email, letter or webchat
Placing telephone trades in accordance with instructions received
Responding to questions and investigating cases for shareholder accounts in a fast, efficient and accurate manner.
Investigating errors in shareholder accounts and statements
Review open items to ensure proper follow-up and closure actions are taken

Knowledge and skills needed:

High school/secondary school or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required
Excellent Administration skills required
Resilient and hardworking due to the fast-paced environment
Experience in a customer service environment is preferred
Confident communicator
Strong planning and organisational skills
