Customer Service Advisor

Ashford, Kent

£19,000 – £22,000

The Role:

The Customer Service Advisor will be responsible for assisting to deliver the long-term strategy of my client. You will be the primary point of contact for the business, dealing with a variety of customer queries over the phone and in person.

Responsibilities will include:

Reviewing and advising customers on insurance requirements
Identifying and initiate cross-selling opportunities/activities
Administering client instructions to meet compliance standards
Dealing with insurance claims within authority levels and in accordance with claims standards
Implementing customer money collection
Developing and sustaining effective working relationships with customers, members of the wider company and colleagues Requirements

The Requirements:

Proven track record in delivering excellent customer service
Ability to build relationships through effective written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Good IT skills especially Microsoft Office and to use NFUM systems
Able to manage own workload and able to work effectively under pressure
Willingness to learn new skills
Hard working and great team player
Be able to problem solve and use own initiative whilst demonstrating attributes of honesty, integrity, due care, skill and diligence
