Job Description
SF Recruitment are working with a well recognised and established client to appoint a Credit Controller for a permanent opportunity based in central Birmingham. My client is looking for an experienced Credit Controller who can join the business and make a positive impact. They have excellent staff retention and are proud of their collaborative approach to provide an excellent service to their customers.

Your duties will include:

– Running credit checks
– Raising sales invoices
– Chasing customers for outstanding payments by phone and email
– Negotiating payment plans
– Allocating payments received
– Taking payments over the phone
– Resolving queries
– Reporting aged debt
– Complete monthly cash forecast
– Ad hoc duties as required

To be considered:

– Experienced Credit Controller
– Competent in financial software packages
– Intermediate level of Excel – V-lookups, pivot tables
– Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills – able to build effective, long-term relationships via phone and in person
– Enjoys interaction with internal and external customer focus

You will be working 37.5 hours Monday to Friday, where you will be based in the office and some hybrid working may be considered. This business is accessible by bus and train and offer 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and further benefits for the successful candidate
