The opportunity:

To maximise profitability through effective and timely management of our incoming finance, and minimising the risk of non-payment and aged debt, whilst also providing first line support for the Credit Control Team. Work proactively to deliver and maintain a first-class credit control service to a portfolio of clients to ensure we build a secure and profitable Sonovate. This is built on building professional and efficient relationships with your allocated portfolio of clients and providing excellent standards of customer service internally and externally to ensure that risks are identified, and the ledger is always effectively maintained.

Duties and Key Responsibilities:

* Support a team of Credit Controllers and Administrators, act as first point of contact for all query escalations, and report to Credit Control Manager

* Assist the Credit Control Manager with any ad-hoc projects/duties

* Work to and achieve both team and individual KPI's as agreed with the Credit Control Manager

* Actively review performance for allocated Credit Controllers

* Undertake ledger reviews and 121’s for allocated Credit Controllers

* Provide performance reports to Credit Control Manager and prepare month end figures required for bonus calculations and sign off

* Provide ongoing training to the Credit Control Team, including technical skills (systems) and process knowledge (workflows)

* Escalate issues to the Credit Control Manager & wider business

* Develop commercial relationships with the customer base and internal stakeholders

* Work within and promote the agreed credit control structure and processes, ensuring the profitability of Sonovate through efficient and effective credit control

* Manage and be responsible for own ledger of a minimum of 100 debtors of high complexity

* Daily cash allocation within agreed timescales, and assist with any cash allocation issues/uploads

* Manage own CRM tickets and personal emails

* Pro-actively monitor insured limits with customer base, and highlight any concerns to the business

* Liaise with customers via telephone and email

* Manage individual and team’s aged debt in line with set KPI’s
