Job Description

This fantastic company close to Horwich with sites across the UK is looking for someone to join their Credit Control team so if you have an excellent phone manner and the desire to work in credit control, this could be the role for you. Along with a starting salary of up to £20,000, the role comes with hybrid working, holidays that rise to 25 days plus bank holidays over time, pension, healthcare and a staff discount scheme. What will you be doing as a Credit Control Assistant:
Working as part of the finance team, you will be responsible for the management and collection of outstanding invoices. Duties will include:

Providing debt information to clients to assist the effective collection of debt
Building and maintaining relationships with clients to help manage aged debt
Prompt resolution of client invoice queries, liaising with internal and external contacts
Providing details of correct allocation of receipts to the Legal Cashiers Team
Liaising with the Billing team to ensure that bills are amended in line with client information
Providing detailed analysis of outstanding internal and external contacts
Monitoring overdue debt levels and providing actions to ensure that the overdue % does not exceed the agreed target
We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:

Phone based office experience and the desire to develop a career in credit control
Previous credit control or possibly debt chasing experience would be beneficial
Confident and outgoing with excellent communication skills
Comfortable using Excel and Outlook
Numerate
Highly organised with an excellent eye for detail
What will you get in return for your work as a Credit Control Assistant:

A salary of £18,000 to £20,000, depending on experience
20 days holiday plus bank holidays, rising to 25 days after 2 years
