Are you an experienced Compliance Manager looking for a leading company that can offer you extensive career prospects?

Our leading Property band client are seeking a Compliance Manager to work within there Insurance broking services function. Reporting directly to the business CFO, you will be accountable for driving compliance best practices and measures in line with regulation such as FCA. You will play a key role in measuring risk, developing best practice and providing strategic support to the leadership team. This newly created role would suit a Compliance Manager seeking a more senior role with more accountability

Excellent benefits Duties include:

Develop, manage and implement the policy, advisory and monitoring functions
Design and monitor control systems, including a compliance monitoring programme and breach register
Take responsibility for the management and upkeep of registers/directories
Adhere at all times to Statement of Responsibility in relation to your own role.
Co-ordinate with different department managers to review all departmental compliance policies
Prepare for and think strategically about how any future regulatory changes
Perform period audits and monitor the regulated activities
Provide a compliance report in a prescribed format for submission to the operational board meetings and any other form of meeting as may be required.
Highlight training needs or requirements
Lead employee training sessions on insurance compliance issues.
Assume the Insurance technical reference point for employees
Investigate complaints in accordance with the FCA regs
Prepare the relevant management information data
Liaise with our outsourcing partner on a regular basis to ensure compliance
Assist in guiding Senior Managers in their responsibilities as MLCP/MLRO to the business Experience Needed:
